Simplina’s Fertility Coaching Program is a two-month virtual program designed to help couples improve fertility naturally through Functional Medicine and personalized lifestyle changes. You’ll meet with a PhD, Registered Dietitian every other week in four, hour-long, empowering coaching sessions to receive tailored nutrition, supplement, and lifestyle strategies that optimize egg and sperm health.
-
Yes. Many couples can improve their fertility naturally by addressing root causes, such as hormone imbalances, inflammation, and stress, as well as sleep and nutrient deficiencies. Simplina’s program is designed to restore your body’s natural ability to conceive—on its own or alongside IVF.
-
We identify and treat the root causes that impact fertility—like hormonal imbalances, inflammation, poor gut health, nutrient gaps, and chronic stress. Our care plans include lab testing, nutrition science, and personalized Functional Medicine strategies to enhance the reproductive health of both partners.
-
Functional Medicine is a specific training and approach to healthcare that focuses on identifying and addressing the root causes of symptoms and health conditions, considering the whole person. We assess your current health status and how your body is functioning using cutting-edge lab tests. Then we create a personalized fertility plan that addresses your nutrition, physical, and mental health to improve egg quality and whole-body health so your body is baby-ready.
-
Absolutely. “Unexplained infertility” often means traditional testing hasn’t found the issue—but subtle imbalances may still exist. Functional Medicine investigates and addresses these through advanced testing, targeted nutrition, and lifestyle solutions to improve conception outcomes.
-
Most couples notice significant, positive changes—such as improved energy, menstrual regularity, and better mood—within 1-2 months during the coaching program, which is designed to support sustained improvements and conception success.
-
Foods rich in antioxidants, omega-3 fats, zinc, folate, and high-quality protein (just to name a few) support healthy eggs and sperm. Simplina’s fertility nutrition plans go beyond a general list to help you integrate the right foods for your body type at the right dose, tailored to your specific needs based on your lab results and health goals.
-
Chronic stress can disrupt hormones, reduce ovulation quality, and cycle timing, as well as affect sperm health. Simplina’s coaching program incorporates stress-reduction strategies to help balance hormones and support a calm, fertile state.
-
Simplina focuses on preparing your body for conception naturally, while IVF manipulates fertilization directly. We improve the underlying conditions that support fertility so you can enhance your chances of success—whether conceiving naturally or using IVF.
-
Yes. Our program complements medical fertility care by addressing nutrition, metabolism, and lifestyle factors often outside a specialist’s scope. We help make your body more receptive and resilient throughout the process.
-
Once you complete our program, you are a member and can return as often as you like. Whether preparing for your next fertility chapter, pregnancy and postpartum, or on to perimenopause and beyond, we’re here for you.
-
The 2-month Fertility Coaching Program costs $1,499, for individual coaching and $499 for group, which includes four hour-long sessions. Additional fees apply for lab testing and supplements. Payment in full reserves your spot, as spaces are limited.
-
Simplina does not participate in insurance plans. However, if you live in Maryland or Washington, DC, we can provide a superbill for possible reimbursement. Many clients use HSA or FSA funds for our coaching services.
-
Yes. Male factor infertility contributes to about half of all cases, so both partners benefit from coaching, and they can join us in your sessions. We provide nutrition and lifestyle strategies for both men and women to improve fertility outcomes together. Same sex couples are welcome to do the program together. The better health of both partners is a strong foundation.

“After poor results with five rounds of IVF, Dr. Burns evaluated my labs, diet, and lifestyle habits before creating a personal plan for food, supplements, stress relief, and exercise for me. My husband and I attempted to conceive on our own and succeeded on our first try. We now have a healthy baby girl!”
